iPhone App February 26, 2010

For my social media class we had to come up with an iPhone App. I thought for awhile about what would be useful to me, when I finally join the rest of the world and get my iPhone. What I came up with was an iPhone App that can tell you where your belongings are ie. car keys, wallet, glasses, whatever you lose the most.

The phone will be connected to a RDIF sensor, and you will attach the tiny sensors to your objects. When you download the app, you’ll have to provide your mailing address so they sensors can be sent to you. Then, once you hook up the sensor to the phone, you can pick what you want to find and it will come up with arrows on the screen to point you in the direction of the object. Of course, i’m sure this is a long way from happening but it’s something I would find useful everyday.

Love the idea, especially the sensors. Now, what do you do when you lose your iPhone ;-) ?
